Simone Collins served as bridge architect for the Point Pleasant Community Association in collaboration with PennDOT engineers to deliver architecture detailing which evokes the former re-inforced concrete arch bridge designed by pioneering by Bucks County architect/engineer Oscar Martin. The new bridge design is modern concrete featuring traditional formwork, and new stonework designed to marry with the historic stone walls. SC helped negotiate three major new original sculptures installed by local artists on the PennDOT bridge abutments and pier pylons.
