The original concept for the most popular park in Limerick Township was transformed when the addition of 22 new acres justified a master plan update by Simone Collins. The new park plan features a sustainable community center, additional playfields, new stormwater BMPs (best management practices) and a doubling of the park trail miles. SC vetted strong community concerns and developed a new internal park roadway system that allows access for users and sports team while preventing the park from being used as a shortcut thoroughfare.
