Clinton County Greenways / Open Space Plan
Simone Collins completed the Clinton County Greenways and Open Space Plan – which included three distinct greenway feasibility studies. One greenway is an 80-mile stretch of the West Branch of the Susquehanna River. The second is along the former alignment of the Bald Eagle and Spring Creek Canal from Lockhaven to Bellefonte. The third is from Lock Haven to Lycoming County
to link with the Pine Creek Trail. Clinton County is strategically located within the Pennsylvania Wilds, the Pennsylvania Lumber Heritage Region and is adjacent to Pennsylvania Route 6 Heritage Corridor.
