A sports field, a regional trail linkage and a new trail bridge connection to the Delaware Canal State Park towpath were planned, negotiated and designed by Simone Collins for this unique municipal park site – bounded and traversed by interstate gas pipelines and overhead electric transmission towers. SC negotiated designs within utility easements and cleared the trail linkages with PennDOT, PA DCNR and the state historic preservation officer, PHMC. SC wrote over $1M in successful grants for the township to help finance the park improvements.
